DJI, the global leader in civil drones and creative camera technology, has unveiled the DJI Zenmuse H30 Series. This release represents a significant advancement in enterprise payload capabilities, providing high-quality visuals both day and night with greater clarity from longer distances and more precise angles. The H30T and H30 are designed as all-weather, multi-sensor aerial payloads.
The H30T features an integration of five major modules: a wide-angle camera, a zoom camera, an infrared thermal camera, a laser range finder, and an NIR auxiliary light. In contrast, the H30 includes four modules: a wide-angle camera, a zoom camera, a laser range finder, and the NIR auxiliary light. Compatible with the DJI Matrice 300 RTK and Matrice 350 RTK, the Zenmuse H30 Series utilizes intelligent algorithms that enable pilots to see further and with greater clarity during the day, while also improving night vision in low-light conditions.
"Once again, DJI has pushed the limits of aerial visuals to establish new standards for perception and imaging with the Zenmuse H30 Series," stated Christina Zhang, Senior Director of Corporate Strategy at DJI. "The exceptional visuals produced by this reliable payload will undoubtedly improve the effectiveness of drone pilots in search and rescue operations, firefighting, utility inspections, and conservation efforts. As DJI’s most integrated and powerful enterprise flagship payloads, they are crafted to support multiple critical industries."

The Zenmuse H30 Series enables pilots to observe further from the sky. Equipped with a high-resolution 40MP zoom camera that offers up to 34× optical zoom and 400× digital zoom, it allows operators in public safety, emergency rescue, energy inspections, and other critical infrastructure fields to capture finer details—such as reading a license plate from 650 meters away.
In conditions of smog or high atmospheric humidity, the Electronic Dehazing function enhances the clarity of images captured by the zoom camera. With adjustable low and high dehazing levels, the Zenmuse H30 Series improves visibility in various operational environments, from emergency rescue missions to routine energy inspections.
Additionally, the series features an image stabilization algorithm that minimizes shaking, ensuring stable and clear imagery for tasks like detailed power line inspections. The laser range finder provides positioning information for subjects located between 3 meters and 3000 meters away, achieving performance that is 2.5 times better than the previous generation.
In low-light conditions, the Zenmuse H30 Series automatically switches the zoom and wide-angle cameras to Night Scene mode, ensuring uninterrupted operation from day to night. The zoom camera in this mode also supports IR Light for infrared enhancement and NIR illumination, improving night overwatch and search-and-rescue operations.
The series offers Full-Color Night Vision and Black-and-White Night Vision, providing live views and high-quality recordings that enhance visibility for search-and-rescue missions. Additionally, the zoom and wide-angle cameras utilize Smart Capture mode's intelligent image algorithms to automatically assess ambient lighting, producing photos with natural transitions between light and dark while capturing rich details.
Enhanced Infrared Performance
The H30T's infrared thermal camera features a resolution of 1280×1024 with up to 32× digital zoom, capable of measuring temperatures up to 1600° C (2912° F), which assists firefighters in hotspot detection. Its three infrared gain modes help search and rescue teams identify small temperature differences between objects, people, and animals. With a resolution improved by four times over the previous generation, the thermal camera enhances target recognition, aiding long-distance wildlife monitoring and conservation efforts.
The Ultra-High Resolution (UHR) Infrared Image function activates automatically at higher zoom levels, ensuring clear infrared images. The Link Zoom feature allows for side-by-side comparison of visual light and thermal images, facilitating quicker subject location. Users can also simultaneously control the zoom on both the infrared thermal camera and the zoom camera, keeping their fields of view aligned at all times for swift subject detection.
For rescue missions, the H30 Series supports pre-recording via the app for up to 30 seconds, helping first responders gather evidence and capture scenes leading up to the recording.
Superior Environmental Adaptability
With an IP54 dust and water resistance rating, the Zenmuse H30 Series operates safely and reliably even in harsh conditions. It is also capable of functioning in extreme temperatures ranging from -20° to 50° C (-4° to 122° F).
