Draganfly Announces Strategic Defense Partnership with Defense Prime Global Ordnance

Draganfly Inc. (“Draganfly” or the “Company”), a leading developer of drone systems and solutions, has announced the signing of a formal agreement with Global Ordnance, a prime contractor for the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). Under this partnership, Global Ordnance will act as Draganfly’s U.S. defense partner for its range of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and related technologies.
Through the agreement, Draganfly and Global Ordnance will work together to accelerate the adoption of Draganfly’s drone platforms within U.S. defense programs. The collaboration will include embedded manufacturing, rapid supply chain support, and the integration of mission-specific capabilities customized for U.S. and allied defense operations.
This alliance represents a major milestone in delivering sovereign, mission-ready drone solutions to the U.S. defense and security sectors, combining the expertise of both organizations to meet evolving operational needs.
Headquartered in Sarasota and Tampa, Florida, Global Ordnance—along with its subsidiaries Global Military Products and Mountain Horse, LLC—provides defense and security solutions, logistics services, program management, and tactical equipment to the U.S. and allied armed forces.
Draganfly, a long-established developer of UAS and autonomous systems, serves multiple defense and public safety clients. Its Commander 3XL and Flex FPV platforms have already been adopted by branches of the U.S. Department of Defense and other international defense agencies, reinforcing the company’s role in defense modernization and sovereign supply chain initiatives.
By combining Global Ordnance’s deep experience in defense contracting and logistics with Draganfly’s advanced drone technologies, the partnership will create powerful synergies in U.S. market access, regulatory compliance, logistics integration, mission system development, and supply chain resilience. Together, the companies aim to strengthen the deployment and readiness of mission-critical UAS technologies across defense and allied markets.
“We are thrilled to join forces with Global Ordnance as a leading defense provider,” said Cameron Chell, CEO of Draganfly. “Their track record in U.S. defense, logistics, and mission support complements Draganfly’s capabilities in advanced autonomy systems and defense-grade UAS manufacturing.”
“Global Ordnance has long focused on delivering responsive, mission-proven solutions to defense customers,” said Marc Morales, CEO of Global Ordnance. “Partnering with Draganfly enables us to expand into next-generation unmanned systems.”
The global defense unmanned systems market is experiencing rapid growth, fueled by rising demand for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities, autonomous operations, and secure communication technologies. The U.S. Department of Defense continues to emphasize investments in small UAS, counter-UAS, and interoperability programs—highlighting the critical role of trusted, NDAA-compliant suppliers like Draganfly and Global Ordnance in supporting these strategic priorities.
