DJI, the global leader in civilian drones and creative camera technology, has officially unveiled the DJI Mavic 4 Pro. This powerful new drone features a groundbreaking 100MP Hasselblad sensor, dual telephoto cameras with large CMOS sensors, and a revolutionary 360° rotating Infinity Gimbal. With up to 51 minutes of flight time, enhanced Omnidirectional Obstacle Sensing, and 30km HD Video Transmission, the Mavic 4 Pro sets a new standard for aerial content creation.
“When we launched the previous model, it introduced the industry’s first triple camera setup, giving creators unmatched shot flexibility,” said Ferdinand Wolf, Product Experience Director at DJI. “With the Mavic 4 Pro’s 360° Infinity Gimbal, we’re expanding creative potential even further, and we can’t wait to see the new cinematic possibilities users will explore.”
Triple-Camera Powerhouse
The Mavic 4 Pro integrates a high-performance triple camera system with 28mm, 70mm, and 168mm focal lengths. This allows seamless switching between ultra-wide landscapes and tight telephoto shots. Each camera features Dual Native ISO Fusion and RAW stacking up to 5 frames, along with tools like Free Panoramas and Subject Focusing for consistent image quality.
- Main Camera: A brand-new 100MP 4/3 CMOS Hasselblad sensor with HNCS delivers ultra-detailed images and accurate color. Its f/2.0–f/11 aperture enables both low-light filming and unique 10-ray starburst effects.
- 70mm Medium Tele: Equipped with a 48MP 1/1.3" sensor and a new image engine, it creates strong subject separation and cinematic orbital shots.
- 168mm Telephoto: A 50MP 1/1.5" sensor with a wide f/2.8 aperture and optimized gimbal algorithm offers unmatched clarity for long-range shots and Free Panoramas with high detail and reduced depth perception.
Cinematic Video for Professionals
All three cameras support 4K/60fps HDR video, while the Hasselblad camera also records in 6K/60fps HDR with up to 16 stops of dynamic range¹. The medium tele and telephoto cameras offer 14 and 13 stops respectively. For slow-motion footage, the Hasselblad and medium tele cameras support 4K/120fps, and the telephoto camera reaches 4K/100fps¹.
Each camera supports 10-bit D-Log, D-Log M, and HLG color profiles, ensuring seamless color grading across shots.
Breakthrough Infinity Gimbal
For the first time on a DJI drone, the Mavic 4 Pro introduces a 360° rotating gimbal, enabling creative shots like upward 70° angles and dynamic ‘Dutch angles’ directly in-camera. This unlocks completely new ways to tell stories from the sky.
Enhanced Safety and Navigation
Equipped with six low-light fisheye sensors and dual processors, the Mavic 4 Pro offers Omnidirectional Obstacle Sensing even in dim conditions, at speeds up to 18 m/s. It also remembers flight paths for reliable Return-to-Home without GPS when enough light is present¹.
ActiveTrack 360°¹ delivers smooth subject tracking, even if partially hidden or standing on a bridge. It detects vehicles from up to 200m away¹, ideal for professional automotive filming.
Superior Flight Performance
Thanks to its aerodynamic build, efficient motors, and 95Wh battery, the Mavic 4 Pro achieves flight times of up to 51 minutes, speeds of up to 90 kph, and a 41 km range¹. Whether shooting time-lapses, scouting, or capturing panoramic views, users have plenty of flight time to get the job done.
The DJI O4+ transmission system ensures 10-bit HDR video transmission up to 30km¹, even in high-interference environments.
New DJI RC Pro 2 Controller
The Mavic 4 Pro pairs with the new DJI RC Pro 2 controller, designed for pro-level use. It features a 7-inch high-bright Mini-LED display, rotatable screen for vertical shooting, HDMI port, collapsible design, and a 4-hour battery life. With 128GB internal storage and support for DJI Mic series¹, it’s a powerful companion for any shoot.
Efficient Power with Parallel Charging
The DJI 240W Power Adapter¹ and Mavic 4 Pro Parallel Charging Hub can fully charge one battery in 50 minutes and charge three batteries simultaneously. It prioritizes the lowest battery first, then balances charging across all three in just 90 minutes¹.
It also functions as a 100W power bank to charge other devices and supports battery power accumulation¹.
Storage & Connectivity
The standard Mavic 4 Pro has 64GB built-in storage¹, while the Creator Combo version includes 512GB and supports ALL-I 4:2:2 video encoding. DJI’s QuickTransfer enables high-speed wireless file transfers (up to 80MB/s¹) without needing to power on the drone or remove it from your bag.
