DJI, a global leader in civilian drones and creative camera technology, has introduced the Avata 360, its latest flagship drone designed to unlock limitless creative possibilities in a single take. The new model features 360° imaging powered by 1-inch-equivalent sensors, enabling creators to capture stunning 8K/60fps HDR video. It is also equipped with DJI’s advanced O4+ video transmission system and obstacle sensing capabilities, delivering extended range, improved stability, enhanced safety, and a more immersive flight experience. When paired with DJI goggles and motion controllers, the Avata 360 offers an engaging FPV (first-person view) flying experience. Additionally, creators can use DJI remote controllers to capture a full 360° perspective in one flight, allowing footage to be reframed from multiple angles and turning a single shot into a wide range of creative outputs.


Brilliant Imaging, Boundless Creativity


The Avata 360 features two interchangeable lenses that can be switched seamlessly to suit different shooting needs. Its 360° lens is equipped with 1-inch-equivalent sensors, enabling the capture of highly detailed 360° footage in 8K/60fps HDR as well as 120 MP photos. With large 2.4 μm pixels and a high dynamic range, the system delivers excellent clarity in both highlights and shadows. Content can be exported as-is or reframed during post-production for greater creative flexibility. In addition, the Single Lens mode offers a more traditional shooting experience, allowing creators to film in the classic Avata style at 4K/60fps.

Powerful Video Transmission, Immersive Flight

The Avata 360 is powered by DJI’s flagship O4+ video transmission system, delivering clear and stable live feeds for a smoother and more immersive flight experience. With strong anti-interference performance, it supports high-definition transmission at 1080p/60fps and offers a maximum range of up to 20 km.

Fly With Confidence, Create With Ease

The Avata 360 delivers up to 23 minutes of flight time and comes equipped with a range of standard safety features, including nightscape omnidirectional obstacle sensing and built-in propeller guards. In the event of damage, the camera lens can be easily replaced using the DJI Avata 360 replacement lens kit (sold separately). It also enhances aerial content creation by allowing a single 360° shot to be transformed into multiple creative outputs during post-production, using the DJI Fly and DJI Studio apps, including:

  1. Spotlight Free1 - Locks onto a moving subject and assists with camera movement, replicating the sophisticated camera language like a pro with Inspire 3. By comparison, Spotlight locks onto your subject’s face to effortlessly capture Circle or Dronie shots without manual adjustments.
  2. ActiveTrack 360°1 - Automatically selects the optimal tracking mode. For example, Standard mode maintains a steady distance and altitude relative to the subject. Meanwhile, Cycling mode reacts faster to turns and keeps the subject in frame even in complex environments.
  3. FPV mode - Enables even novice pilots to adds a natural roll effect to Spotlight Free, ActiveTrack 360°, and manual flights to create dynamic, high-speed FPV-style footage. This mode can be applied in post-production.
  4. Intelligent Tracking - Powered by advanced algorithms, the DJI Fly and DJI Studio apps make it effortless to lock onto and smoothly track people, vehicles, pets, and more, even in 360° footage.
  5. New One-Tap In-App Editing - With GyroFrame, 360° footage can be adjusted to an ideal angle and exported in the DJI Fly app. Both DJI Fly and DJI Studio allow camera movement effects to be added. 
  6. Virtual Gimbal1 - Uses a 360° view to enable infinite rotation and tilt for dynamic camera moves. Even when flying in one direction, horizons can be rotated, and perspectives can be shifted to look back or perform a flip.
  7. Replaceable Front Lens Element - The front element features a replaceable design. Purchase a replacement lens kit with tools1, and you can easily replace the old lens yourself—no need to send it in for repair.
  8. 42GB Internal Storage and High-Speed Transfers - With 42GB of internal storage, 30 minutes of 360° video in 8K without a microSD card. Using Wi-Fi 6 High-Speed Transfer, 1 GB of footage can be transferred to the DJI Fly app in 10 seconds at up to 100 MB/s1. 

FPV Flights and Aerial Filming in One Drone


The Avata 360 blends the creative flexibility of a 360 camera with the excitement of FPV flying, delivering a unique aerial experience. It can be operated using DJI remote controllers (RC 2, RC-N2, RC-N3), enabling precise camera control and opening up new possibilities for capturing dynamic aerial shots. At the same time, DJI goggles and motion controllers provide a more immersive flight experience, supporting 360° imaging at 1080p/60fps. Similar to the Avata 2, the drone also allows users—even beginners—to perform aerial maneuvers such as drifting with ease using the DJI RC Motion 3.
